Sorry for posting again but I am trying to catch up on posts lol and this is kind of interesting. This is really interesting. I'm curious to know what your take on it was, compared to the cat person piece? I think in Cat Person the "whore" comes across as a bitingly cold, scary word. In this one, I'm not so sure. Somehow I can see it both ways — almost fondly, the way you would say it jokingly to a friend who's telling you about their last night out (haha) or almost as a resentful, still bitter feeling.
